As our Representative in Olympia, Brian Blake has been a champion for Southwest Washington’s priorities and needs. Since 2018, he has supported successful efforts to:

  • Provide $200 million to address the coronavirus pandemic, investing in hospitals, unemployment relief, and assistance for small businesses
  • Protect and grow our population of salmon, crab, and other critical natural resources that help drive the economy of our coastal communities
  • Develop workforce education programs to grow economic opportunity and create more skilled workers
  • Ban surprise medical billing and expand healthcare access
  • Encourage growth of Washington’s agriculture industry and support small farms
  • Promote innovations in local farming through carbon sequestration and increased water quality
  • Create a community care and supportive services program for veterans in rural areas
  • Restore and preserve historic landmarks across the district

House Committee on Rural Development, Agriculture, & Natural Resources
